Full Time Employment: Download Application

Interested in joining our team?

Here's what we do --
  • Car, boat and mobile home title and registration transactions
  • Property Tax Payments
  • Resort Tax Payments
  • Disabled Parking Permit Applications
  • Hunting and Fishing Licenses
  • Driver Licenses

Applicants can expect a fast-paced work environment. When you are part of the Tax Collector's Office, you'll join a team that is a leader in the state. We use the latest PCs, communication systems and bar code scanners, plus a first class Internet site for our customers and state of the art Intranet for our employees.

I believe our employees are also world-class. A number of them serve in leadership positions on state committees -- assisting in formulating state policies in the motor vehicle, resort tax, and delinquent tax fields, just to name a few. We encourage our staff to think “out of the box” for better ways to conduct business.

The pay is $12.31 an hour once full-time status is achieved. Our College Degree Incentive Pay Plan could add an additional $1- $2 per hour to your salary upon verification of your degree from an accredited college or university.

Competition is keen, only 5% of those who submit an application receive an interview, so apply today and start the process to become part of our team.

Sincerely,

Ken Burton Jr.
