** The Manatee County Tax Collector will not accept payment in the form of unrolled nickels, dimes and quarters if the total amount of such coins exceeds $10. Unrolled loose pennies are not accepted as payment in any amount except as needed to make exact change up to $1. Properly rolled pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters may be accepted as payment provided they are full rolls, the payee provides a legal photo ID and the payee’s name and phone number are written on each roll of coins. This policy was established to ensure the best use of staff time to better serve all customers waiting to have their transactions processed.
