|I'd like to find out who owns a mobile home. Can I get that information from the Tax Collector's Office?

No; Due to the Federal Driver Privacy Protection Act, all inquiries for mobile home records must be submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles in Tallahassee. To do so, complete a Records Request Form, print it and mail it (with the proper fees) to the address on the form. If you operate a business that requires information on multiple records, visit http://www.flhsmv.gov/data/internet2.html where you can get in touch with third party providers who may be able to assist you in your inquiries.
