|Why did my property tax bill come to me with a different owner’s name?

The Property Appraiser may not have been notified of the sale, or the sale took place after the Property Appraiser prepared the tax roll. The Appraiser prepares the tax roll for approval by the Department of Revenue on or about July 1, so any sales after that date may not reflect the new owner.
You must contact the Manatee County Property Appraiser’s Office at 941.748.8208 for ownership questions and changes.
