Why aren't all property owners listed on the property tax bill?

Up to 3 property owners are printed on the tax bill. If more than 3 owners exist on an account, an asterisk will appear after the 3rd owner's name and the statement *INDICATES ADDITIONAL OWNERS will appear on the tax bill.  Current ownership can also be verified on the Property Appraiser's website at
