Not a Manatee County resident?  Effective 7/24/17, Out-of-County residents can only be served at our Driver License Office, located at 904 301 Blvd W, Bradenton.  An appointment is required.  Visit taxcollector.com to schedule an appointment.  Out-of-County residents must select the “Non-Manatee County Resident DL/ID Card Transaction” Service in order to be served.  Testing services (e.g. road testing, written exams) are provided for Manatee County residents only.

You must apply for a new driver at your local driver license office. Non-U.S. Citizens: Please bring 1) your original/valid USCIS (INS) documents, 2) proof of social security number, if you have one, and 3) two documents showing your name and residential address. Please read our Non-US Citizen (Temporary Resident, Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen) Customer Information Publication and for a complete list of acceptable identity documents, visit www.flhsmv.gov/driver-licenses-id-cards/what-to-bring.
