|Do I have to pass any written exams before I can make an appointment for the Class E Driving Skills Road Test?

If you have held a Learner License for at least 1 year conviction-free or until your 18th birthday, then you are NOT required to take the Class E Written Exam. Schedule an appointment now to take your Class E Driving Skills Road Test.
However, if you have never been licensed before or if you’re currently licensed in another country, you will be required to schedule an appointment to take the Class E Written Exam. (Appointments for testing/exams are available to Manatee County residents only with proof of residency.)
