Am I required to title and/or register my dinghy?

  • A boat without a motor that is less than 16 feet in length is not required to be titled or registered.
  • If a boat with a motor is 16 feet or more in length, it is required to be titled and registered.
  • If a boat with a motor (any length) is used on a public waterway, it is required to be titled and registered.
