I have a question about my Community Development District (CDD) assessment. Who do I contact? This answer has been viewed 12285 times and was last updated on 10/25/2019.
Community Development Districts (CDD) assess the property owner with an annual maintenance fee, as well as an amount to be applied to debt service. These fees are included on the real estate property tax bill per F.S. 190.021(2) and (3).
For any questions concerning CDD assessments, you must contact the appropriate CDD at one of the numbers listed below, not the Tax Collector's Office or Property Appraiser's Office. To research the legalities of a CDD, visit the Florida Legislature's Florida statutes page. If you do not have internet access, the Public Library offers access to the internet.
