What fees apply to bad checks?

The bad check fee is up to five percent of the check's face amount or one the following, whichever is greater:
- $25 if the check's face value is $50.00 or less
- $30 if the check's face value is $50.01 through $300.00
- $40 if the check's face value is $300.01 or greater
The maximum bad check fee is $100.00.
Please note that we are unable to remove bad check fees.
