If a commercial pier charges individuals to fish, is the pier owner required to purchase a pier license?

**Effective December 1, 2017, an appointment is required to process any hunting and fishing license/permit transactions at our Driver License Office located at 904 - 301 Blvd W, Bradenton.  Visit to schedule an appointment.  (Our other office locations cannot sell hunting and fishing licenses/permits.)**

Yes; to charge a fee, the pier must be issued a pier license. If a pier is not licensed, anyone fishing from the pier must be individually licensed.
