**Effective December 1, 2017, an appointment is required to process any hunting and fishing license/permit transactions at our Driver License Office located at 904 - 301 Blvd W, Bradenton. Visit taxcollector.com to schedule an appointment. (Our other office locations cannot sell hunting and fishing licenses/permits.)**
Yes, it is issued to an individual and transferable to any commercially registered boat operated by the individual; but the license can only be used for one boat at a time. The Coast Guard requires a Captain's License for all operators of for-hire boats.
