|I take people on my boat to fish but I don't charge them; is there a license I can buy for this situation?

**Effective December 1, 2017, an appointment is required to process any hunting and fishing license/permit transactions at our Driver License Office located at 904 - 301 Blvd W, Bradenton. Visit taxcollector.com to schedule an appointment. (Our other office locations cannot sell hunting and fishing licenses/permits.)**
You may purchase a recreational vessel license for a fee of $2,001.50 per 12 month period. A recreational license is only required if the passengers on the not-for-hire boat want to saltwater fish without being individually licensed. For additional information, visit www.MyFWC.com.
A recreational license can only be issued at a Tax Collector's Office. Our branch offices do not sell any type of hunting/fishing licenses. You must visit our Driver License Office located at 904 - 301 Blvd W, Bradenton, if you need this type of license.
