First Identification Card - Florida License Already Issued
Our office can issue a first-time identification card, provided the applicants have either of the following in their possession:
- A Florida driver license
- An out-of-state driver license or identification card
To be in compliance with the new driver license and identification card requirements of the Federal Real ID Act, your Florida or out-of-state driver license or identification card must be surrendered to our office.
Note: A new photo will be taken at the time of issuance.
First Identification Card - No Other State-Issued Identification Available
Our office provides limited driver license services; we do not issue first-time identification cards if the applicants do not have any other state-issued identification.
You must visit the Specialized Driver License department at the DeSoto office.
