Thank you for your continued support!

Now that the election qualifying period is over, I want to say thank you to the citizens and voters in Manatee County for automatically electing me for another four years. It has been my pleasure to serve as your County Tax Collector for the past sixteen years and I thank you for your encouragement and support.

Over the years we have been truly blessed to be able to assemble and retain a great staff and today is their day to celebrate, too! I could not ask for a more dedicated staff who truly loves the challenge of providing excellent customer service, short wait times, and helping their customers through complex steps in completing their transactions.

As we now look forward, our strategic priorities are as follows:

• Implement a new web-based property tax system
• Prepare for the Federal Real Id Act pertaining to driver licenses
• Continue our quest to become a Florida Governor's Sterling Award recipient for best business practices
