Kerri Ward is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the 2nd Quarter

Kerri Ward was selected Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter at the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office. She has been an employee since 2010, and serves as a Driver License Expert in the Specialized Driver License (SDL) department of Current Collections.

“Kerri is one of our subject matter experts in our SDL department,” said Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. “These are those employees who have taken on the challenge of the many and varied duties that we are required to perform for the state. Kerri’s attention to detail, observations, critical thinking and following published policies and procedures allows her to notice those small details that are crucial in this area.”

“Kerri is great with the customers and even in high stress situations she always remains calm and courteous,” said Marie Munford, assistant director, Current Collections.   “Kerri always has a positive attitude, is dependable, accountable and is a pleasure to work with here.”

“This past quarter, Kerri was one of the leaders in productivity in the SDL department with the highest effective time of everyone in the department at 93%,” said Tony Conboy III, Director of Current Collections. “During the same time frame, she has processed over 1400 total transactions, which is incredible. This coupled with the fact that she has had zero quality issues during the last quarter makes her one of our top performers.”

Kerri daily exhibits our Core Values of Customer Focus, Excellence and Accountability, Teamwork, and Integrity and Respect.

Kerri receives a certificate, her name engraved on the Employee of the Quarter Trophy, special parking space, a uni-leave day of her choosing, names a themed casual day, and a free pizza from Demetrio’s Pizza House, Cortez Road.
