| Jarell Stinton is Manatee County Tax Collector’s Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter 2012. She is a 15-year veteran of the office, is a Certified Florida Collector Assistant and serves as an Associate III in the Operations Department. This is the second Employee of the Quarter award she has received, the first coming in 2007.
“Jarell has been instrumental in the Operations department for some time,” said Tax Collector Ken Burton, Jr. “But in the past few months she has assumed additional duties when a valued employee died and then stepped up again when the supervisor in the department retired. She has done this all without complaint and with a great attitude. We appreciate her very much.”
“Jarell has been an incredible help to our new director and new supervisor in learning the department processes and procedures,” said John Marble, Director of Operations. “She does a great job in handling our e-commerce every day. We can count on her to do an excellent job no matter what task she is performing.”
“I am so thankful to Jarell for her thorough orientation to the department of Jedidiah Brightbill and myself,” said Marie Munford, incoming Operations Director. “She filled in the gaps during this transition time and has been a huge help to me in determining budgeting and accounts payable that come into Operations. She is very dependable; she is here early every morning to balance our e-commerce accounts so that appropriate departments have their reports early. Jarell is vital to the success of our department. She exhibits daily our core values of Teamwork, Excellence and Accountability, and Integrity and Respect.”
Her name is engraved on the Employee of the Quarter Trophy, receives a certificate, a reserved parking space, a uni-leave day of her choosing, a free pizza from Demetrio’s Pizza House, Cortez Road and names a themed casual day in her honor.
The mission of the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office is to perform our duties with integrity and respect, focusing on innovation and serving with excellence.
