Sara Sasada is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter (Published 04-07-2021)

Bradenton – Sara Sasada was named the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter 2021. Sara joined the Tax Collector's team in 2015 as a counter associate, quickly demonstrating her initiative and love of learning, and earning a great reputation for the consistency of her work. In 2017, she was promoted to her current position of Assistant Manager in the Customer Solutions and Associate Development Department. Sara is a recipient of the Semi-Annual Outstanding Quality Award (2016), Lillie Robinson Humanitarian Award (2018), Semi-Annual Customer Service Award (2019), and multiple Perfect Attendance and Perfect Quality awards. She represented the office at the 2016 Florida Sterling Conference and holds her Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

We constantly see 5-star Google reviews coming in for Sara from her customers. This time, the recognition came from within. She received two nominations from coworkers for this award outlining her dedication to our core values of Teamwork, Integrity and Respect, Community and Social Responsibility, and Excellence and Accountability. We want to acknowledge her efforts however we can and this award is a token of our gratitude for her commitment to serve with excellence."
"Sara has always helped solve problems and improve how efficiently we operate," said Tony Conboy, Director of Customer Solutions and Associate Development. "She recently trained new virtual service assistants to help process transactions remotely, expediting customer wait times. She was also involved in the implementation of new software that streamlined our entire scheduling process for over 60 individuals across 6 different locations. Her skill set is truly amazing."
"Having someone who is knowledgeable and willing to step up is invaluable," said CSAD Assistant Director, Ronda French. "Sara just finished her cross training to be the acting assistant manager in our Customer Contact Center, filling in from April through June. She takes on new challenges with a smile and her teams love her. She is a great role model."
Sara also serves as a 4-H leader, a youth assistant at her church, and helps organize meal packing events to support the community.
Sara represents Office core values of customer focus, innovation, future focus, integrity and respect, teamwork, excellence and accountability, and community and social responsibility. She receives an Employee of the Quarter trophy, a merit certificate, a reserved parking space, a bonus vacation day, a themed casual day, and a free pizza from Demetrio's Pizza House, Cortez Road.
