Boat Fees - Title & Registration
In Florida, boat registration fees are based on the length of the boat, and expire each year at midnight on the first registered owner's birthday. Title fees vary slightly based on whether the boat is brand new, already titled, and coming from Florida or out of state. NOTE: Boat fees are not prorated so if you are registering your boat in the 3 months prior to your birth month and wish to register for 13, 14, or 15 months, take the amount listed above and double it for a rough estimate. 2-year (biennial) registrations are available for all of the preceding weight classes. For a 2-year fee estimate, double the registration amount listed above. If you are registering for 25, 26, or 27 months, triple the amount above.
