Avoid the lines and save money. Change your Driver License Address online, by phone or mail.

Did you know that Florida law requires you to keep your driver license address current within 10 days after moving? It's easy -- choose the method most convenient for you!

If you select one of the options above to change the address on your Florida Driver License…it costs less than visiting one of our offices to change the address. The State Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in Tallahassee will mail you a completely new license if you have a newer digital driver license or if you have an older laminated version, it will mail you a sticker that you will place on the reverse side of your license. The fee to change your address by mail is $10. Additional fees apply for phone and online services (approximate cost is $13). If visiting our office, it will cost $15.25. Our office does not accept credit card payments in person; credit cards are only accepted online and by phone.

Note: By selecting one of the options above for an address change you will be directed to Tallahassee, not to the Manatee County Tax Collector's Office. We will direct any questions regarding these transactions to the DHSMV in Tallahassee at 850-617-2000. Allow 30 days for processing.
