The Manatee County Tax Collector's Office will reinstate your driver license provided the following requirements have been met:

  1. The outstanding D6 suspension(s) on your driver license is for: (1) failed to pay traffic fine, (2) failed to appear for a traffic summons, (3) failed to complete court-ordered school, (4) school election when not eligible, or (5) school election made-failed to attend.

  2. You have paid your ticket(s) through the appropriate county Clerk of Court and you have an official receipt or proof of payment.

  3. Your digital image is on file.

  4. You are a US citizen.


  5. AND

  6. Your driver license is current or expired (less than 2 years).

The fee for reinstating your driver license varies based on the date your ticket(s) were paid.
