  1. A BIDDER means a person who actually registered with SRI-AuctionsOnline to bid online for tax certificates.
  2. A REGISTRANT is the person(s), or corporation, pension plan, etc., who registers at the sale in person or through an agent.
  3. AGENTS – A bidder may register with SRI-AuctionsOnline.com.

  1. A bidder will be assigned a number.
  2. A bidder registration must be filled out for each name (s) you will use for the bidding process. Bidding will be held online only.
  3. A bidder must furnish a Social Security or Federal ID Number for each of the registrants or agents. An IRS Form W-9 must accompany any Federal ID Number. Such forms and numbers must accompany the online registration information.
  4. Our office will need an address, telephone number where the bidder can be reached during normal business hours and an e-mail, if available. If you use a Post Office Box, we will also require a physical address.

BIDDING:
The following regulations apply to the online bidding process:
  1. The maximum bid rate of interest is 18% per annum and is bid down. The bidder willing to accept the lowest bid rate is awarded the tax certificate. Bids are placed in whole or ¼ percent fractional increments.
  2. The auctioneer will call the parcels by the newspaper assigned number and the bidding will begin.
  3. The lowest bid rate, recognized by the Tax Collector or his Appointee, is the official bid.
  4. Parcels will be called for bid in sequence as advertised (please be advised that some numbers will be skipped because the taxes have been paid). Each parcel will be auctioned individually.

This is general information and is not intended to digress from the Statutes of the State of Florida or the Tax Collector’s Rules and Regulations promulgated.
