Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program CIP
What is the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program?

The Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program is a program that provides residential and commercial property owners with the ability to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements made on their property.  The loan plus interest is paid back over time (typically around 20 years), through a voluntary assessment on the property owner’s annual tax bill.  This means the loan is attached to the property and not the property owner, which may make the property difficult to sell in the future (i.e. with the purchase of the property comes the obligation to repay the loan).  PACE assessments cannot be paid off at the Tax Collector’s Office.  Contact the appropriate PACE agency below for payoff information.

To research the legalities of a PACE Agency, access Florida Statutes at leg.state.fl.us/Statutes. If you do not have internet access, the Public Library offers access to the internet.

How to Contact a PACE Agency

Questions concerning PACE assessments (e.g. payoffs, interest rates, loan terms) must be directed to the appropriate PACE Agency at the number listed below. The Tax Collector and Property Appraiser Offices cannot answer any questions regarding these voluntary assessments.
