If you are not a US or Canadian citizen*, you are required to present proof of legal presence (USCIS) documents when applying for a Florida driver license or ID card.  All documents presented must be original and current.  If you have questions about how to obtain legal presence documents, please contact the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
