Courtney Batten is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter

Bradenton - The Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to announce Courtney Batten as the Employee of the Quarter for the 4th quarter of 2025, recognizing her outstanding performance, unmatched accuracy, and critical contributions to both customer service and fraud prevention.

Since joining the organization in 2021 as a Driver License Expert in the Customer Service and Associate Development (CSAD) department, Courtney has set an exceptional standard of excellence. Her productivity is unmatched, processing more than 4,100 transactions this quarter. Even more impressive, Courtney maintained a flawless record with zero quality control issues and zero work errors, exemplifying her consistency.

“Courtney’s contributions go far beyond the numbers,” said CSAD Manager Danielle Kidd. “She is one of the most reliable and accurate team members we have. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity help make our team stronger and our service better every day.”

“Courtney has shined since day one,” added CSAD Director Tony Conboy. “Courtney is respected by her peers and greatly appreciated by her management team. She is the embodiment of dependability, accuracy, and customer service.

Courtney also plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of our services. Her vigilance recently led to the identification of altered address documents submitted by a commercial driver license (CDL) holder and, in another instance, a fraudulent Social Security card. These actions not only protected the office from potential fraud but also demonstrated Courtney’s sharp eye and deep understanding of the organization's processes and policies.
