Mariah Kyzer is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter

Bradenton - The Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office is pleased to announce Mariah Kyzer as the Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Mariah joined the Tax Collector’s Office in 2024 and has continued to grow within the organization. In August 2026, she transferred to the Customer Contact Center (CCC) and was promoted to Remote & Title Services Specialist. Mariah was selected for her commitment to customer service and willingness to step in wherever she is needed. She consistently supports both customers and coworkers while taking on additional responsibilities throughout the office.

“When I think about a team player, Mariah is the first one that comes to mind,” said Customer Service and Associate Development (CSAD) associate Hillary Love, who nominated Mariah for the recognition. “She is always volunteering to help when another associate needs assistance and has stepped up on multiple occasions when she was needed. She always demonstrates a friendly attitude toward customers with a genuine smile.”

Mariah has also taken an active role in training and supporting fellow team members. She took the initiative to review and improve training materials, create new visual resources and provide cross-training to help coworkers learn additional responsibilities. Following her promotion and transfer to the CCC, Mariah quickly completed training in several new areas and continues to expand her knowledge to better serve customers and support her team.

“Mariah has shown a genuine commitment to helping others succeed, whether that means supporting a coworker, helping train a new team member or stepping in wherever she is needed,” said Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. “That willingness to help others while continuing to provide excellent service to our customers is a great example of the teamwork we value throughout our office.”

“Mariah consistently brings positive energy to the office, greeting each day with a smile and a willingness to contribute wherever needed,” said Heather DeLeon, CSAD Manager at the West Manatee Branch. “Her accountability, initiative and positive attitude make a meaningful difference to our team and the customers she serves.”

The Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office congratulates Mariah Kyzer on being named Employee of the Quarter and thanks her for her continued dedication to serving the citizens of Manatee County.
