Manatee County Tax Collector opens new Driver License Office at 904 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton (Published 10-19-2016)
To prepare for the projected driver license traffic increase, the Manatee County Tax Collector constructed an office at 904 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton, across the street from the DeSoto location."To make as seamless a transition as possible, our current Specialized Driver License department will be closed Friday, October 21, to get ready to open in the new driver license building on Monday, October 24," said Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. "The building has been two years in the making, and my staff has worked tirelessly to meet the needs of our Manatee County drivers."
The new full service Driver License Office will process only driver licenses, ID cards, and hunting and fishing licenses. Other motor vehicle related transactions, such as titles, registrations, parking permits, limited driver license services, and property taxes will be handled by the other four tax collector offices. Visit www.taxcollector.com for limited and full-service driver license offerings and locations. First Manatee South County Tag Agency processes only motor vehicle related transactions and offers extended hours to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
