Dylan Buotte is the Manatee County Tax Collector's 2024 Most Valuable Employee

Bradenton - The Manatee Tax Collector’s office is happy to announce that Dylan Buotte has been chosen as the 2024 Aimee Brewer Most Valuable Employee. Dylan was selected from an elite group of nominees including Michael Forte, Tom Sheridan, Karen Prater, Christine Vandenwildenberg, and Kim Krise. His nomination emphasized the office's core values of integrity and respect, future focus, innovation, teamwork, and excellence and accountability.

“In my opinion, Dylan exhibits all of the core values we hold dear in our organization,” said fellow Customer Service and Associate Development Department (CSAD) associate Bethany Brogdon. “He exudes these values by putting our customer’s needs first and implementing teamwork into everything he does.”

Dylan has been a member of the Tax Collector’s office since 2021. He most recently has moved to a position within the Quality Assurance (QA) Department after spending time in the office’s Customer Contact Center as a trainer and assisting customers through remote processing. In addition to training new employees on operations in the Call Center, Dylan headed up a large text messaging initiative that has assisted customers to quickly get the information they need to complete their transactions.

“Being voted for this award by his coworkers shows how much Dylan is appreciated and respected by the entire office,” commented CSAD Director Tony Conboy. “Dylan’s recent promotion to our Quality Assurance Department will allow him to help develop customer and employee training and communication projects that will have an officewide impact. The entire office will benefit because of his forward thinking, efficiency, and innovation.”

"Dylan exemplifies the very best of what our organization stands for," said Manatee County Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. "His dedication to innovation, teamwork, and customer service is unmatched, and his contributions have a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the customers we serve."

Dylan has also stepped up to perform administrative duties when needed and has been instrumental in presenting new ideas to promote efficiency in the department. Dylan has also shown that his primary commitment is to his customers, upholding the highest standards of integrity. He is known throughout the organization for his friendliness and knowledge of policies and procedures.

“Dylan is so motivating and encouraging to everyone around him,” concludes Bethany. “He is friendly and open to all our staff, regardless of their time or experience with the office. I have personally gone to Dylan on several occasions for guidance and have always been met with a welcoming attitude and useful advice.”
