If you've lost your license plate or decal, it's been stolen, or you never received it, you'll need a registration replacement. This transaction will only issue a replacement decal and/or plate if it is still valid. If the date needs to be extended (renewed) or is within 3 months of expiring, we recommend visiting the renewal page for more information.
On the other hand, if you've misplaced the actual paper registration (often stored in your glovebox), you'll need a duplicate registration.
You can easily order a replacement registration by completing the Online Application for Replacement License Plate or Decal. For a duplicate registration, visit the FLHSMV MyDMV Portal.
