Overview

In Florida, property taxes are handled by two agencies: the property appraiser's office, which assesses the taxes, and the tax collector's office (our office), which collects them. The property appraiser sends the TRIM (Truth in Millage) notice each year, and the tax collector sends the tax bill.

Discount Periods for Annual Payments
Payment deadlines are: in person by 5:00 p.m. EST, or postmarked or paid online by 11:59 p.m. EST

  • November 30 - 4%
  • December 31 - 3%
  • January 31 - 2%
  • February 28 - 1%
  • March 31 - No discount - last day to pay before taxes become delinquent.
