Sara Sasada is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter

Bradenton - The Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to announce that Sara Sasada has been selected as Employee of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2025. Sara, an employee of the Tax Collector’s office since 2015, is also celebrating two years in her role as a manager in the Operations department. She has continually demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence throughout her time with the organization.

Sara’s contributions in her role have made a significant impact on the department and the entire organization. Known for her positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and impressive organizational skills, she has consistently gone above and beyond, balancing multiple high-priority projects while maintaining a high level of efficiency. Her ability to quickly grasp new concepts and manage complex tasks with precision makes her an invaluable member of the team.

“Sara embodies the qualities of an Employee of the Quarter,” said Operations Assistant Director Kristy Chapman, “High performance, a positive and collaborative attitude, and dedication to the core values of our organization; Sara’s work reflects all of these traits, and as a true asset to our office, I’m very proud to nominate her for this award.”

A long list of accolades over the past quarter include managing large-scale building projects, improving records management within the department, organizing disaster preparation efforts, establishing new training programs for Operations team members, and leading recovery efforts for Hurricane Milton, in addition to several other impressive accomplishments.

“Sara’s excellence shines both inside and outside the office” said Ken Burton Jr., Tax Collector. “She’s usually the first one to sign up for our community volunteering events and is always willing to help her fellow teammates and neighbors. When you have someone on your team that has excellent leadership, brings great ideas to the table, and treats constituents with integrity and respect, you’ve got a winner…and Sara is our winner this quarter!”
