Andrew Seavers is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter

Bradenton - The Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to announce Andrew Seavers as the Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2026, recognizing his exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and significant contributions to the organization’s technology infrastructure and operational resilience.

As a member of the Information Technology Department, Andrew has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and initiative while leading and supporting several mission-critical projects across the organization. He has served as the lead IT employee supporting the needs of the Communications Department, ensuring that major construction and remodel projects met all data, power, and technology requirements. This included coordinating and installing PCs, phones, monitors, and other equipment to ensure staff readiness and uninterrupted operations.

Andrew also played a central role in facility improvement initiatives. He led IT efforts for the West Manatee Branch conference room remodel and is currently spearheading planning and preparation for additional remodeling projects at other branches.

“Andrew’s ability to manage complex projects while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly is truly impressive,” said IT Director Wayne Hoefle. “His leadership, technical skill, and attention to detail have been essential to the success of some of our most important infrastructure initiatives.”

In addition to his work on construction and facility projects, Andrew led several major system modernization efforts. He successfully migrated several call systems to a high-performance virtual server environment, significantly improving system reliability and scalability. He also redesigned the office’s server backup system and implemented new cloud-based disaster recovery plans, strengthening the organization’s ability to respond to unexpected disruptions.

“Andrew exemplifies the values of leadership, accountability, and excellence,” said Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. “His behind-the-scenes work has a direct impact on our ability to securely serve the residents of Manatee County, and we are grateful for his dedication and expertise.”
